Poor oral hygiene is one of the leading causes of school absenteeism (dental pain) which in turn affects academic performance. To reduce absenteeism and as part of our mandate to cater for children’s wellbeing we will yearly run free dental and eyes screening for them.

Easter Fiesta Report

As part of our mandate to cater for the wellbeing of this group , RAISING CHAMPION CHILDREN INITIATIVE, in collaboration with Out of School Children Empowerment Foundation (OSCEF) and Women Consortium of Nigeria (WOCON) organized an Easter Fiesta party for some primary school children including children with physical challenges.

Along with the party, there was a dental health screening for the children to know how healthy their teeth are .

The children had a lot of fun and both the children and their families were privileged to be part of this initiative. In attendance were 70 children, 2 dentist and 1 dental nurse.
